Live demo · A real, read-only sandbox of the app No login

Try openWCS right here, no sign-up, nothing saved.

This is the real openWCS app running entirely in your browser as a read-only sandbox. Open every menu and browse the actual screens with sample data, but nothing can be changed and nothing is saved anywhere. Reloading the page resets the demo to its starting point. The headline interaction is the goods-to-person pick station: five totes arrive and you can pick them, full pick or short pick, including the normal exceptions.

Read-only

Browse everything, change nothing

Every menu opens and every screen renders with sample data, but all create, edit and delete controls are disabled. You cannot break anything.

Nothing saved

It all lives in your browser

There is no backend and no database behind this demo. All state is in memory, so a page reload restores the original sample data and re-arms the five totes.

Pick five totes

The goods-to-person station

Five totes arrive at the pick station. Present and confirm each one as a full pick or a short pick, trigger the usual exceptions, and reset to run it again. The demo carries a station of each pick layout: one-to-one, one-to-N lit slots, and a put-wall, with the slot and light states rendered.

A two-minute tour

Not sure where to start? Do this.

The sandbox is a read-only snapshot, so most screens are there to browse. The one thing you can actually drive is the pick station, so start there, then dip into the menus that carry sample data.

The main event

Pick five totes at PP1

  1. Open Operations, then GTP workplaces in the left menu and choose PP1 (Pick Place 1).
  2. Claim the station. Five totes are already inducted and roll into the queue in front of you.
  3. For each tote, present the stock, then confirm a full pick, or enter a lower number for a short pick.
  4. Try an exception: mark a tote dirty, or report some units broken, and watch the cycle adapt.
  5. Clear all five, then hit Restart demo in the top banner to run it again.

Want the other layouts? PP2 is a one-to-N station with lit slots and PW1 is a put-wall with pick-to-light, each rendering its own slot and light states.

Worth a look

Menus that carry sample data

  • Overview, the landing page: live tiles for stock, inbound, outbound, dispatch and automation.
  • Dashboards: Stock levels, ABC movers, Replenishment and the full-screen Andon board.
  • Operations: Stock overview, Handling units, Stock counting, Picking, Transport and the live Hardware visualisation.
  • Reporting: Material flow, ASRS, Stock, Inbound and Outbound charts.
  • Master data: Warehouses, SKUs, Locations, Areas, Storage blocks and HU types.
  • Engineering: Slotting, the Process designer and the 3D Automation topology.
  • Administration: the Database browser, Users and Warehouse access.

Do not miss Operations, then Hardware visualisation: a live 3D twin of the automation, with totes driving round the conveyor loop, robots roaming the aisles and a crane working the rack.

Screens we did not snapshot show a clean empty state rather than an error, so open anything you like.
